![]() Rename the layer to recall the step and toggle visibility off. to save the step to be recalled, 'stamp visible', ie copy the present state to a new layer = select the upper layer and do Ctrl Shift Alt E, or the equivalent fo Mac. The following works in any version of Elements (Mac or Windows). The idea behind the history brush is to mix the present image with a former state of the editing. Hmmmmm - I found an article describing a "History Brush" in PSE. I tried Geoff's idea first and than got the idea of defining pattern with the images that were needed and it seemed to work OK. ![]() The work around, if you want to call it that, was painting with the pattern stamp tool and a fairly large wet medium brush. Well I'm glad to know it wasn't me!!!! (for once). It's not mentioned in the Help Files either (either online or offline). Hmmm - I've heard of the History Brush on CS3, but if it's on PSE I've yet to meet it. Can anyone help me find the HISTORY BRUSH in PSE 4.0 on Power Mac G-5.
